Price and access. Canadian citizenship preparation costs C$19.99 plus applicable tax, paid once. Access lasts 90 days from successful payment, with no automatic renewal. This independent preparation does not register you for the official test or guarantee a passing result.
Voluntary refund. For your first purchase of citizenship preparation, request a change-of-mind refund within seven days (168 hours) of successful payment, after viewing no more than 50 distinct paid practice questions and before starting any full-length mock exam. If eligible, we return the amount you paid, including applicable tax, with no administration deduction. All four citizenship mocks are full-length mocks, including the two untimed ones. Starting any one of them ends this voluntary refund eligibility. The 20 free teaching questions and free study material do not count as paid practice use. Repeat views and English/French versions of the same question count once. Contact Examstead through the contact form or the seller contact details in your order confirmation. A completed refund ends paid access from that purchase; your study records are retained under the privacy policy.
Official guide or test changes. A material change means a replacement official guide edition, a change to the official test's content, format, question count, time limit or passing rule, or a correction that makes a tested answer inaccurate. A spelling or website navigation change alone is not material. If a material change makes this preparation unsuitable during your active access, you may choose a reviewed update at no extra charge or a full refund of the amount paid, including applicable tax, without an administration deduction. This protection is not subject to the voluntary refund's seven-day or usage limits. We aim to assess the impact within two business days after confirming the change. We pause affected new citizenship sales while the preparation is unsuitable. If a reviewed update cannot be supplied within 14 calendar days after that confirmation, we offer a full refund. A refund ends paid access from that purchase; it does not erase your study records.
Other rights. Mandatory legal rights, refunds for duplicate or erroneous charges and material service failures remain available. The ordinary administration deduction for other Examstead products does not apply to citizenship preparation. Exceptional-circumstance review and the existing possible 30-day access extension remain available. No condition in these terms limits a refund required by law.

Your access begins when payment succeeds and lasts 90 consecutive 24-hour periods. Your confirmation shows the start and expiry date and time. Delaying your first visit does not delay expiry. Access is for one learner account and cannot be shared or resold.
You need an internet connection, an up-to-date supported browser with JavaScript enabled, access to your account email and the account verification method you select. Required browser/device details and any additional package requirements appear in the order summary before purchase. There is no offline preparation package download unless your package expressly includes one.
After expiry, you cannot start new paid practice. A timed attempt started while access was valid may finish at its original deadline. Completed results remain available subject to account deletion and the published record-retention policy; this is not permanent access to the paid question bank. A renewal requires a separate purchase you choose to make.
Mock exams unlock in order. Mock 1 is available with your preparation package access. Complete each mock with at least 50% to unlock the next. You can retry during your access period.
The threshold uses scored questions without rounding up. Earlier qualifying results in the same preparation package still count. Attempts and results are retained; later steps remain locked until their prerequisites are met. The free guide and its samples are outside this sequence. This is an Examstead progression rule, not the official examination pass mark.
If illness, a family emergency or an exam postponement interrupts your preparation, contact us. We review individual circumstances and will normally offer one additional 30-day access period for the affected purchase. We confirm any extension and its new expiry date in writing. We may also make a reasonable refund exception or waive the administration fee. An extension is not a substitute for a refund or other remedy required by law. You do not need to send detailed medical records with your initial request.
Outside the voluntary offer's time and usage conditions, a change of mind or unused access does not normally qualify for a refund, subject to our individual review above. This does not limit your rights if the service is defective, unavailable, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.
Report access problems through our contact form. If a problem within our control materially prevents you from using the package, we will work to restore access and provide an appropriate extension, replacement or refund, without reducing any remedy the law requires. We do not deduct the C$5 fee from refunds required by law, corrections of duplicate or erroneous charges, or refunds for material service failures within our control. The seven-day, usage and first-purchase conditions do not restrict those remedies.
You can review your order, correct mistakes or decline before paying. We send a confirmation containing your order details, access dates, receipt and the terms accepted for that purchase. Please keep it for your records.
These terms do not waive consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived. We do not require you to waive court proceedings or class proceedings, or accept mandatory arbitration.
