References to BCIN, the Building Code and examination names identify the subject of our materials. Names and marks belonging to other organizations remain their property.

Our questions, explanations and study resources are educational materials. They do not provide legal, engineering, architectural or other professional advice for a particular project or situation.

Exam scope and current sources

The first package is being developed for Ontario’s BCIN General Legal/Process examination under the 2024 Building Code syllabus. It is not preparation for every BCIN technical category.

Laws, referenced documents and examination requirements can change. Check the edition, dates and source references provided with the material, and confirm the requirements for your sitting with the examination authority. Official requirements govern if they differ from an Examstead explanation.

Development and review

The preparation package is in development. Descriptions on this website explain planned features; no practice questions, mock examinations or learner services are available here yet.

AI assists with authoring and development. Automated checks and AI review can miss errors or ambiguity and do not establish independent professional approval. Content review and testing must be completed before the package is offered for sale.

Results and qualifications

We do not guarantee a passing result, a particular score, admission, registration, licensing or employment.

Practice can support preparation; prior knowledge, study, examination conditions and the authority’s assessment also affect the outcome. Eligibility, examination registration and qualification decisions remain with the relevant authorities.

Pricing and future purchases

The displayed C$99 price is the planned price for 90 days of Examstead preparation access, plus applicable tax. The access period will begin on successful payment. This price does not include official examination fees or registration with an examination authority.
