Your package and price

You are purchasing personal online access to the RCIC Entry-to-Practice Exam (EPE) or IRB specialization preparation package identified in your order. Each purchase covers the selected course; purchasing one does not include the other. Before payment, your order summary lists its edition, included study materials and practice/mock-test availability. The EPE price is C$99 plus applicable tax; the IRB price is C$149 plus applicable tax. The exact tax and total are shown before you pay. There is no automatic renewal and no required additional Examstead purchase to use the listed package.

Official examination registration and fees, professional registration, and external reference books or publications are not included. Any reference materials you need to obtain separately are identified before purchase. Examstead is an independent preparation provider. It is not an official examination, accreditation or guarantee of passing, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants or the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

A code valid for the selected course may be applied before payment under its stated conditions. Both EPE and IRB participate in the referral program: an eligible first purchase receives 10% off through a valid referral link. A referral discount cannot be combined with a coupon. The referral terms describe eligibility and attribution. Check the discount and final total before confirming your order. BCIN remains under review and is not for public sale.

Access and technical requirements

Your access begins when payment succeeds and lasts 90 consecutive 24-hour periods. Your confirmation shows the start and expiry date and time. Delaying your first visit does not delay expiry. Access is for one learner account and cannot be shared or resold.

You need an internet connection, an up-to-date supported browser with JavaScript enabled, access to your account email and the account verification method you select. Required browser/device details and any additional package requirements appear in the order summary before purchase. There is no offline course download unless your package expressly includes one.

After expiry, you cannot start new paid practice. A timed attempt started while access was valid may finish at its original deadline. Completed results remain available subject to account deletion and the published record-retention policy; this is not permanent access to the paid question bank. A renewal requires a separate purchase you choose to make.

Seven-day limited-use refund

For your first purchase of this course, you may request a change-of-mind refund within 168 hours of successful payment, provided you have viewed no more than 50 distinct paid practice questions and have not started a full-length mock exam. Opening a question counts as viewing it even if you do not answer it. Free sample questions do not count. Viewing a question again, or viewing its English and French versions, counts only once. The first-purchase condition applies to the learner, not to each email address or account.

Send the request through our contact form, by telephone or by mail. Please identify the account email and order reference; never send card details or passwords. The request must be sent within the period, but our response need not arrive within it. Requesting a refund review through your study account pauses new paid study from that purchase. An already-started timed attempt keeps its original deadline. If you contact us another way, please stop using the paid materials while we register and review your request; your evidenced sending time determines whether the request was timely.

For an eligible voluntary refund, we return the total you paid, including the tax charged, less one administration fee of up to C$5. The total deduction never exceeds C$5, including applicable tax. Tax rounding may reduce it in your favour; no additional fee or tax is added to the deduction. It helps cover payment-processing and refund administration costs and is an Examstead fee, not an exact reimbursement of Stripe's fees. We disclose this deduction before payment. The exceptions in the following sections take priority.

We will initiate the refund to the original payment method within seven calendar days after receiving an eligible request; your bank may take additional time to display it. If the original payment method cannot receive a refund, we will arrange an appropriate alternative with you. Any shorter legal deadline takes priority.

The refunded purchase's access ends when the refund is processed, except that an already-started timed attempt keeps its original deadline. Your other valid purchases and completed study records are not cancelled by that refund. This voluntary first-purchase offer does not apply to a later purchase or renewal of the same course.

Flexibility for unexpected circumstances

If illness, a family emergency or an exam postponement interrupts your preparation, contact us. We review individual circumstances and will normally offer one additional 30-day access period for the affected purchase. We confirm any extension and its new expiry date in writing. We may also make a reasonable refund exception or waive the administration fee. An extension is not a substitute for a refund or other remedy required by law. You do not need to send detailed medical records with your initial request.

Problems and other refund rights

Outside the voluntary offer's time and usage conditions, a change of mind or unused access does not normally qualify for a refund, subject to our individual review above. This does not limit your rights if the service is defective, unavailable, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.

Report access problems through our contact form. If a problem within our control materially prevents you from using the package, we will work to restore access and provide an appropriate extension, replacement or refund, without reducing any remedy the law requires. We do not deduct the C$5 fee from refunds required by law, corrections of duplicate or erroneous charges, or refunds for material service failures within our control. The seven-day, usage and first-purchase conditions do not restrict those remedies.

Order confirmation and your rights

You can review your order, correct mistakes or decline before paying. We send a confirmation containing your order details, access dates, receipt and the terms accepted for that purchase. Please keep it for your records.

These terms do not waive consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived. We do not require you to waive court proceedings or class proceedings, or accept mandatory arbitration.
